No way will I spend what it takes to build a top-of-the-line gaming machine, so I am always behind the curve in that respect, but my two year old home built rig with its 128mb 9600 pro runs F.E.A.R. really well. Concerned about Oblivion though, and haven't seen a demo. Probably time to shell out, and pass this one on to one of the grandkids.

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion looks like it's going to kick my computer's ass.

I want oblivion so I must buy a 360 just for that game and may be perfect dark since I will already have one.

Try a game called PREY its not out just yet but will be VERY hard on PC's

x3 gets such a low framerate on my machine it's unplayable. It must be a fixable bug because my machine isn't that much of a weakling (P4 3.4GHz, 1Gig RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon 9800). I tried it at the lowest resolution with many features off and it still has that problem ... what a disappointment. I'm still waiting for a fix.

Just wait until UT2007 and Elder Scrolls 4 comes out... that WILL require a good graphics card and spec

Guess its BF2 then...
My comp is rather good.. I mean.. really good.. nothing ever lags in here unless I am having windows doing some update on the backround or the game server itself lags.. but when I played BF2... jesus.. Insane lag.. it was almost impossible to fly any vehicles..

I love how everyone treats high system requirements as a good thing.

*sarcasm* Because we all have AMD FX-57, Liquid Cooling, 500GB Serial HD, 8Gigs Corsair ram, Sound Blaster® X-Fi® Elite Pro , and Dual 512MB x16 NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX */sarcasm*
